- Dennis MacAlistair Ritchie (often referred to by his Unix login
dmr) was an American computer scientist who created the C programming language and co-developed the Unix operating system with Ken Thompson at Bell Labs. - In 1982, during my early career at Tektronix, I discovered a critical remote code execution vulnerability in
