MacMania 5 Cruise
- MacMania 5 Cruise (October 28 – November 4, 2006) was the fifth dedicated Macintosh-themed educational voyage organized by Geek Cruises (Insight Cruises), co-produced by Macworld. It sailed the Western Caribbean aboard Holland America's M.S. Veendam.
Double-Track Curriculum
- The cruise offered multiple curriculum tracks focusing on macOS Tiger, digital lifestyles, automation, and creative photography:
- MacMania Tracks: Covered macOS automation, scripting, and iLife. Sessions were led by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, broadcaster Leo Laporte, tech writer Andy Ihnatko, Apple automation PM Sal Soghoian, and editor Jason Snell.
- Design & Photography Tracks: Focused on digital photography techniques, camera workflows, and image post-processing. Instructors included Ben Long and Derrick Story.
- The cruise offered multiple curriculum tracks focusing on macOS Tiger, digital lifestyles, automation, and creative photography:

- Departed and returned to Tampa, Florida.
- Visited Key West, Florida; Belize; Costa Maya, Mexico; and Guatemala.
