- Chess Moves 1 Cruise (January 14 – January 21, 2006) was the maiden dedicated chess-themed educational voyage organized by Geek Cruises (Insight Cruises), sailing through the Eastern Caribbean aboard Holland America's M.S. Zuiderdam.
Program & Instruction
- The cruise offered intensive seminars covering opening theory, chess tactics, strategy, and endgame play.
- Featured instruction, private consultations, and informal blitz tournaments led by Grandmasters Larry Christiansen, Joel Benjamin, Susan Polgar, and FIDE Master Paul Truong.
