- Unix Review was a premier print and online trade publication devoted to the Unix operating system family, systems administration, and enterprise software engineering.
- From 1998 to 2000, the magazine was temporarily rebranded and published as Performance Computing before reverting back to Unix Review.
- Between March 1995 and July 2007, I wrote 71 columns for Unix Review / Performance Computing, beginning with the "Perl Advisor" column and covering systems automation, parsing, file utilities, and test suites. See Writing 254 Magazine Columns Across Four Landmark Publications.
