- Performance Computing was the title given to Unix Review during a temporary rebranding period between 1998 and 2000 by publisher Miller Freeman, before the publication returned to the Unix Review name.
- During this era, I continued writing monthly technical columns on Perl and Unix systems administration. See Writing 254 Magazine Columns Across Four Landmark Publications.
