  • The Museum Visit

    • On April 8, 2025, I recalled a visit to the museum at the base of the St. Louis Arch in St. Louis, Missouri.
    • I noticed a display that proudly declared St. Louis to be "The End of the Oregon Trail."
    • As an Oregonian, I was amused by this mistake, noting that St. Louis is actually the beginning of the Oregon Trail, whereas the end lies in Oregon (such as Oregon City, Seaside, or Astoria).
