Solving a WiFi Password Puzzle
- Deciphering a confusing handwriting notation to connect to wireless internet.
The Triple Underline
- On November 12, 2016, I shared a puzzle I solved to get a WiFi password.
- The instructions stated the password was in all lowercase letters, suggesting "birthday1", which failed to connect.
- I noticed the first character was underlined three times. Remembering proofreading marks where a triple underline indicates "capitalize this letter," I tried "Birthday1" and successfully connected.
