- On May 6, 2015, I recalled a client in Los Angeles who delivered millions of page hits a day from a card cage in One Wilshire.
- To get data to their office six blocks away, they ran dark fiber directly to the card cage.
- Our office was just one hop from the main "meet-me room" fiber hub. Standard internet speedtests were a joke because we were testing their end, not ours, and I was able to suck down 40GB of data from my cloud server at Wilshire Annex as fast as the disk could write it.
