    • In November 2021, I recalled a shorthand I used to communicate with camera operators when directing videos.
    • I would direct the handheld camera operator by calling out "Batman left" and "Batman right."
    • The operator immediately understood this as a reference to the signature tilted Dutch angles used in the villain headquarters of the classic 1960s Batman TV series.
