  • Key Port Stops & Memories

    • Georgetown, Grand Cayman (Tuesday):
      • I went on a Atlantis Submarine Deep Dive, descending 1,000 feet underwater in a 3-man research submarine, taking over 200 photos.
      • I attended the ship's magic show in the evening, where I was selected as the magician's stooge on stage (which gained me a bottle of nice champagne). See Magic Act Stooge on a Cruise.
      • Bill spent the night partying in the Piano Bar until 4:00 AM.
    • Cozumel, Mexico (Wednesday):
      • I attended a regular expressions seminar taught by Ian Darwin, then went on a shore excursion to the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza in Mexico.
      • Bill hung out on the beach, did body shots, and saw dolphins.
      • The entire cruise group and crew ended the night at Carlos'n Charlie's, a wild party where five ship crew members missed the 11:30 PM departure.
    • Key West, Florida (Friday):
      • We participated in the Key West Pub Crawl.
      • As we docked, I watched Customs board and saw a dock worker snag a line on one of the ship's propellers.
      • Bill closed down the Piano Bar with the ship's Captain, chatting until 4:00 AM.
