- Astro Gas is an Oregon-based independent petroleum distribution and service station chain, owned and operated by the Dyk family (led by Mr. Dyk).
- In the mid-to-late 1980s, Randal Schwartz was contracted to automate Astro Gas's manual accounting and logistical paperwork for hauling fuel, calculating delivery margins, and blending gasoline. See Contracting for Astro Gas and Learning the Petroleum Business.
