Day 1 of the cruise is a lot of "hurry up and wait". We all rush to the pier, only to get into various lines and waiting areas while the 1800 passengers get loaded onto the ship.

After the ship leaves port, the Bon Voyage party lets everyone meet the speakers and each other. Then it's off to an elegant dinner (the first of far-too-many food experiences).
