Ahh, Germany. The home of my father's father before he came to the states, although I had never been there. We docked in Warnemunde, which had formerly been East Germany's primary seaport before the reunification.

We took a water ferry down to Rostock, spent a few hours there, then took a trolley and a train back to the ship.

A local performing group appeared in the main theatre on board. They were holding us up past leaving time, so the officers kept saying on the communication system "are they off yet, are they off?" Here they are, pouring off the ship.
