For Day 4 and Day 5, we were docked in St Petersburg, Russia. This is the
first cruise I've been on where we spent the night. But "night" is used
loosely here. It's summer, and we're at 60 degrees north latitude, so
all we get are these "white nights".
Unlike most ports, the only way to get off the ship was to have a
special visa, which you got automatically on tour, or you could purchase
ahead of time. I wasn't organized enough to get a visa, so I opted for
two tours instead (one each day).
On Day 4, I went to Peterhof Palace, and saw a great Russian Music and Dance show.
