Finally, cruise day. It's the old "hurry up and wait" routine. We rush through breakfast, only to have to wait 90 minutes in the waiting line before getting on the ship, then it's another two hours before sailing. Of course, the lifeboat drill was the highlight of the day (not!).

Shortly after dark, we're on our way, and Captain Neil buys us all drinks at the Bon Voyage party in the Crows Nest. I can't remember whether I had two or three WangWangs, but they were as good as always.

At dinner in the formal dining room, I harassed the picture guy by taking pictures of him while he was trying to take pictures of me. This became a running joke through the cruise.
