These are images from the "university of Perl" tour, first leg, to Seattle and Los Angeles.

Yes, Bill insisted that since we were in Seattle, we had to go to the nearby Hooters. Bill entered a hot wings eating contest, and didn't win.

Damian Conway gave his Latin Perl talk to the Seattle Perl Mongers, and I met Brian Ingerson there, who told me about the Inline module, which I insisted would be best of show if he entered a paper on it for the next Perl Conference. I was right!

In LA, we surprised Damian for his birthday, twice! The hotel messed up my room reservation three times, so they upgraded me to the big director suite, which was nice.

Images that are of the form DSCNnnnn.JPG are "raw" images nearly straight from my camera, having only been auto-leveled and scaled 50%. Eventually, I hope to edit these in my normal manner, but I'm running a bit behind. Some pictures of this set are probably throw-aways or need rotating. But at least they're uploaded. {grin}
