Nearly every free night I had in New York, I headed over to
Red Rock West,
which Kevin had told me would be most like the
Coyote Ugly movie
on my
previous New York trip.
Every night was like a killer party, with alcohol flowing freely,
guys getting their shirts ripped off, women dance-stomping on the bar
to the Charlie Daniels band, and a jam-packed sea of patrons all throwing
twenty to two hundred dollars a night at the beautiful, friendly, but totally
cool and in-control bartenders.
All I can say is that this bar is now on my permanent itinerary
for every future trip to the Big Apple.
