These are snapshots from a weeklong trip to New York City.
The movie
Coyote Ugly
had just opened in theatres, so I wanted to make sure to visit the
movie's namesake while I was there.
Luckily, I stumbled across the
New York City Barpals site,
which had info on all five western-themed bars, and I even bumped
into Kevin, the webmaster for the site, while I was at Village Idiot!
From there, I determined that
Red Rock West
was the most like the movie,
and spent two nights there, meeting
Lori-Ann
the owner as well.
You can bet I'll be returning to these bars on each of my future NYC trips!
On the way there, from the air I saw a
fire in the
Snake Canyon/Hells Canyon area,
so I got some good pix of that too.
