These pictures were taken while I happened to be standing in front
of a Tijuana (Mexico) bar while the 10 Jun 2002 Solar Eclipse was in
progress. I held up my binocular with one hand, focussing the images
against the wall, then snapped the pictures with the other. The
eclipse was at its maximum for the location: about 80% I'm told.
The sky was an odd yellow, like a late sunset, although the sun's position
was still about 15 degrees above the horizon. Over the next 45
minutes, the bright late-spring sun returned.
